In short: Size M (80 x 65 cm externally, 60 x 50 cm sleeping area) is usually suitable for Beagles and Cocker Spaniels. Dogs that like to curl up will fit comfortably in the round Meallow, which has a diameter of 90 cm. If your dog sleeps stretched out or is on the larger side, choose L.

The right size

Size External dimensions Internal sleeping area When
M 80 x 65 cm 60 x 50 cm 8 to 15 kg, sleeps curled up or partially stretched out
L 90 x 75 cm 70 x 60 cm larger dogs or dogs that like to stretch out completely
Meallow L 90 cm diameter round dogs that curl up tightly

How to measure correctly: measure from the nose to the base of the tail while the dog is lying down, then add 15 to 20 cm. Find out more in the post Which dog bed size is right?

Raised edge for resting

Beagles and Cocker Spaniels often like to rest their heads on a raised edge and snuggle up. A high, soft edge like on the Dream or Candy is a good fit.

Easy to clean for curious noses

Both breeds spend a lot of time outdoors and often bring something home with them. Fully washable beds are therefore ideal: Soft Stripe, Dream, Meallow and Candy can be machine washed at 30 degrees without spinning. Size M fits in any standard washing machine drum.
